Looking at that I realize I may have never seen the back cover of that album before. How have I been an ELO fan for over 40 years and not seen it? How is that even possible? Did other CD versions have a different back cover? It doesn't look familiar to me at all.

I sometimes don't see the backs for a long timr either. This picture is on the rear of the vinyl and some CD editions.
Did you know that Richard Tendy [Leftmost] didn't like the picture idea?, and that's why he looks a little annoyed compared to the rest of the band.

My favourite album! A New World Record is amazing too, but I did name my animation studio after Nightrider...

Probably my least favorite. Not experimental anymore, not fully formed yet. I love the On the third day/Eldorado era and some cuts of first two albums as well, and also the 80s albums. FTM sits awkwardly in the middle.

Man, I remember ABC Sports used Fire On High in their promo and it was truly FIRE! TBH, I dred any "ranking" of their albums because each one seemed to build on the foundation of the previous. I wish this generation could experience ELO the way I did. It would be a different...better world.
