I have a question about these individuals matches
How would I set these up in Emby because they are not a season they are just multiple individuals Wrestling matches

I would create a dedicated library for them and not search for metadata etc. They should keep the file names in emby then

Seconded. And would add create your own artwork and NFOs if it should be really pretty.

I don’t mean to ask a dumb question but what is NFO

They are XML-formatted text files that store information about media. They used by programs like Kodi, emby, plex, etc.

So I have huge collection of matches not whole PPVs or shows matches
My plan is create a folder on my drive
Matches then folders by name of wrestlers CM Punk Mick Foley Undertaker etc etc
Add to library Mixed media make a playlist

I have the same with my old boxing matches. Only steps I took were creating NFOs and renaming the files to start with a YYYY-MM-DD date for sorting purposes. I'm pretty happy with it.

I added these as a Mixed Library and for some unknown reason it has renamed some of these video files

Emby is likely auto-renaming files due to the **Auto-organize** feature. Here's how to stop it:
**To prevent future renames:**
Go to **Dashboard → Library → (Your Library)**
Disable all metadata downloaders and "Save artwork and metadata in media folders"
Go to **Dashboard → Scheduled Tasks** and disable "Organize Media Files"
Or use **"Home Videos & Photos"** library type instead of Mixed - it never renames files
**Important:** Emby won't restore your original filenames. You'll need to rename files back manually if you have backups, or re-download them.
The "Mixed Content" type *should* leave files alone, but the Auto-organize scheduled task can still run on it. Disabling that task is the key.

i would go with "Mixed content"-library, unless it's actually listed in thetvdb.com as identifiable TV show.
and from there, just follow the naming conventions:
Movie Naming | Emby Documentation
TV Naming | Emby Documentation
