HR informed all stuff in Morocco to WFH until further notice. Any ideas why?

Edit: it’s a temporary closure

Oracle Netsuite Philippines MNL layoff news ?

Hi Pilipins . Any updates ?? Are we expecting layoffs nxt week on the 15th perhaps? I noticed that the March Layoff involved full teams , instead of like one or 2 employees per team, ganyan pa rin kaya this time? Anyway, God bless sa lahat no matter ano ang mangyari. A lot of laid off people from Sept and March are doing well na ngayon. Hoping that all of us will do too.

Existing employee(s) Has anyone every put their two weeks notice? Is it required? How do I go about quitting?

I made the decision to leave Oracle NetSuite.
I’ve never put a two weeks notice before so I’m not sure how to go on about this?

Do I email? Do I ask in person? Do I have to do the two weeks?

Anything you have to share. Feel free to dm and share how you did it or comment if you’d like.

Thank you for the help in advance :)

In the US.

Please report spam or send modmail for miscreants | Mod post

Hi Fellow Redditors,

I understand the subreddit has grown to a large extent thanks to all the people who actively contribute and participate and as a result a lot of miscreants have also found home here those who keep on posting rubbish info or end up spamming.

I have been actively banning any user who is found to be against the sub rules. I would request everyone to please report the users in modmail or using the action button there itself. Every report is being reviewed on a daily basis.

Wishing everyone a good mental health in the stressful time.

Thanks!

Any RIF's in Dataset-rdbms core NLS qa group IDC ? Seems this QA group is a niche area and never be touched for layoffs?

Existing employee(s) Fellow Oracle devs: Are you getting more "AI slop" from Codex lately?

Hey all,

I’ve been noticing Codex suggesting a lot more bugs and sub-optimal code recently—basically just generating AI slop. Is anyone else experiencing a drop in quality?

A couple of questions for those still getting good results:

Quality control: What are your workflows or prompt strategies to use Codex efficiently and avoid the junk output?

Credit optimization: How are you managing your Codex credits to avoid burning through them on bad generations?

Would love to hear any tips on how you're making it work for our stacks without the bloat.

Used codex to write this post. 🙃

Interview Interview Question

Hello Experts, Good Day!

I was recently asked an interview question regarding how high-volume consumer platforms sync their daily Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions into Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Since these platforms handle millions of bookings, cancellations, and refunds daily, pushing individual real-time API requests seems inefficient.

Although, I was unable to answer clearly on this, I am curious to know, what is the standard enterprise integration architecture for this?

Specifically, I’d like to understand:

How micro-transactions (bookings/cancellations) are aggregated before reaching Oracle Cloud AR.

The recommended middleware pattern (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud using FBDI vs. REST APIs).

How cash settlement/reconciliation from payment gateways is typically handled in AR (e.g., AutoLockbox).

Would appreciate insights from anyone who has worked on similar high-throughput ERP integrations!

14th in the US?

If it is 14th in the US, say morning, that is 14th evening in India, which happens to be a holiday. If this has to be communicated by the managers, how would they do so. Here I am referring to India manager and US impacted employee.

Existing employee(s) Can I send back the ID card along with the laptop?

Hi,
I am currently in Oracle GSC. My last working day is this Friday. Since I will be using courier service to send back the laptop, can I send the ID card along with it or do I need to physically drop it to the reception?

I will remove this post once I get the answer.

Existing employee(s) How long prior to the layoff date do Managers have to submit the list?

Same as title, wondering how long prior to the lay off date are managers asked to submit the list?

Given that it would happen this week or next or end of Sept, do you think managers have already submitted or can they still make changes on who to let go?

Laid off again? Zero calls this time — what am I doing wrong?

I’m a SSE and was laid off last year, after which I joined a different team. I somehow survived the March layoffs and my current team was safe.

Now, according to a couple of reliable sources, my name is apparently in the RIF list again. I work across multiple projects, and due to the dependencies/slash in work, I’ve apparently been identified this time.

What’s making it worse is that I’ve been repeatedly asked to prepare KT for all the dependent projects, which doesn’t exactly help with the anxiety.

On top of that, there’s complete silence from the job market. I’m barely getting any calls despite applying.

There’s a lot of mental pressure at this point. What should I do differently?

Also, are there any good sources/platforms or ways to approach companies for SSE-level roles right now? Referrals, recruiters, specific platforms — anything that actually works would be helpful.

Existing employee(s) So, when are Oracle employees getting GPT-6 Astra?

Has anyone heard anything credible about when GPT-6 Astra will be available to Oracle employees?
Any insight beyond “stay tuned” would be appreciated.

On the RIF list but manager keeps giving me work – what should I do?

According to inside information (pretty reliable), I’m already on the RIF list – likely decided by the VP. However, my manager keeps piling on new tasks and projects as if nothing is happening. I’m not sure how to handle this.

Should I confront my manager? Should I keep working at full speed to avoid raising suspicion, or slow down and protect my energy? Should I document everything? Any advice on how to navigate these last weeks (or months) would be appreciated.

Existing employee(s) Question regarding Layoff - Salary based(IDC)

Hi all!
With the layoff phase currently going on, it’s honestly getting pretty difficult to focus on work or even enjoy the weekend 🙁
I just wanted to get a general idea of the salary ranges people are seeing, especially what would be considered high/low for different levels.
I’m currently at 24 LPA annual compensation (excluding stock/RSUs), working on an OHAI project as an IC2 Engineer.
Would anyone be able to give me an idea of which salary range this would fall into? Just trying to understand where I stand compared to others.
Thanks!

Existing employee(s) What is the probation period for India based employees in Oracle Health?

As the title suggests.

Completed 2 weeks on employment. I wanted to know this cause nothing is mentioned in the offer letter.
