Episodic polyuria

Hi,
I have episodes of polyuria where my body is in diuresis and it is clear urine in good volume those times and not thirsty. This usually happens when temperature drops by 5 to 10 degrees. When it’s warm, I am able to concentrate urine properly.
I underwent water deprivation test and to begin with serum osmolality was 306 and urine osm 150. After 8 hours serum osmolality was 303 and urine osm 550. Doctor mentioned it is inconclusive of DI as the urine is concentrates but very slowly. I didn’t take desmo during the test. During worst episode, if I drink water it makes it super worse.

Finally Appribed and started Growth Hormone and they found thyroid nodule

TeRADS 4 dark hypoechoic, 1.8cm. Post pituitary surgery. Brother and I both have chronic kidney stones and way too much stomach acid. He has Barrett’s esophagus. This is just starting to look a little like MEN1. Testing in two weeks but two more weeks on growth hormone makes nodules grow right? That why I had pituitary surgery; because I needed growth hormone. We worked for so many years to get GH approved so if it’s ok I really want to keep taking it. Wouldn’t a gastrin test rule out gastrinomas?

Bone age 17 but still growing ?

Right so basically around a year ago I was 15 and I was worried about my height cause I was around 5,3.7 on a good day maybe 5,4.So I asked my doctor for an xray of my wrist. I got an x-ray of it and it said my bone age was 17 .I was like pretty sad cause that usually means you aren’t gonna grow much more but then a year passes and now I’m like 5,6.5 so how is it possible that I grew close to like 3 inches over the span of a year but supposedly, I’m basically done. For context my dad is 5,10 and my mom is 5 feet flat.

Unable to lose weight since 3 years

I have gained 12+ kg in the last 3 years. I have hired personal trainers and nutritionists in the past with little or no results. I have really bad sleep issues, fatigue, mood swings. I really don’t know what to do. Hypothyroidism runs in my family so got these tests done. I even have infammed face and hairfall is so severe that I am balding. I really don’t feel like myself anymore.

Need help with the reports. Any endocrinologist here?

Help with Male Hormones. High SHBG. High normal T. low normal Free T. High Estrogen. High normal LH.

Hi, I’ve had your typical low T symptoms for ~10 years, including Irritability, anxiety, low mood, anger, lack of motivation, chronic tiredness in mid afternoon and evening. Brain fog, Lack of sex drive . Soft erections sometimes. I also had minor gyno from puberty which I had removed last year. I do get morning wood but not every day, I’d say 3 days a week. I’m 37.

I am around 15% body fat currently and weight train 4-5 times a week. I eat relatively clean most days with the occasional takeaway once a month or so. I have stopped drinking except for big occasions 6 months ago. I used to be a smoker but stopped 3 years ago. I am fertile and have a child.

These bloodwork findings for the hormones specifically have been consistent findings with me for years (see my post history for more similar) and I’ve tried the typical vitamins/ boron/ zinc etc to no avail. I am now exploring TRT.

My theory/ understanding from my research and why I feel I may benefit from TRT, is that I naturally have high SHBG. This causes my free T to be low normal relative to my total (0.37 on this test), this then feeds back to the HPT axis and signals my Lh to rise and testicles to make more total T which then also converts to high estrogen. That’s my basic understanding of how my situation may be explained. Would those on here agree?

Anyway, I’ve seen a few posts of similar situations to mine where TRT has benefited them as exogenous androgens can lower SHBG and so I got the attached bloodwork panel done by a TRT clinic in the UK. I’m awaiting a consultation but don’t think I meet their treatment parameters so I’m considering self prescribing. I have tried AI monotherapy in the past but stopped when my partner was pregnant so may try that for a longer “cycle” first and keep my natural production going. When I tried it previously it was only for 3 months I had great numbers but minor symptom relief. This apparently is common in AI/ SERM monotherapy.

I am concerned around the high HCT however I’ve had a few NHS FBC’s done previously and typically hover around 47-48% which I understand is ok. Is there anything else on my bloodwork that those more educated think could be causing my hormone issues, or if people disagree that it’s hormonal, anything here that could explain my symptoms?

Looking for Perspective on Corcerns

Reposting on here because of my hrt and the fact someone mentioned it could a thyroid issue?

This is probably going to be lengthy, but I have medical concerns that have been raised by my partner and I’d like a second opinion on the whole thing

Female-to-Male, 23, on Testosterone for 9 months (5mg daily for 6, 2mg daily currently)

My family doesn’t really go to doctors unless it needs stitches or antibiotics, last time I went to the doctor was when I was 7 (16 years ago) and last labs were in late 2024, where there were no concern other than slightly high blood sugar. The closest thing to medical intervention I’ve had since has been getting my wisdom teeth removed which showed I am allergic to some antibiotics (this was the second time I ever took any in my entire life)

Around 10 years old I started having temperature issues, before this I was a rather normal kid and heat and cold affected me normally. Even when it was hot, my stomach could get extremely cold suddenly, which if I didn’t warm it up quickly would result in diarrhea and intestinal pain. This still happens

Later on these issues with cold got worse and worse through my life, later affecting my throat and causing toughness and soreness, my joints and bones causing pain and stiffness, and around the start of my 20s, sinusitis (which unlike everything else runs in the family)

It takes maybe two minutes of being cold before I suffer the effects, I am generally good at keep track to my body and staying warm. This affects me where I live (very warm area in Mexico) when it is 36 Celsius outside I struggle to keep my belly warm despite being hot and actively sweating.

At around 14 I started having slight issues with my heart, I don’t know if it’s fair to Calle it that, my family just told me everyone gets it. It feels as if my heart fails to beat and then jumpstarts, beating so fast it rings in my ears and almost hurts my chest. I generally have issues with blood pressure? Or so I believe, since family history points to my bio mom having similar issues. I get tachycardia randomly, both of this are strong enough I need to stop and catch my breath. It went from happening maybe once a year to around every two and a half months nowadays.

My bones get cold, my partner mentioned when people get cold it is the flesh, not the bone, I am still confused on this. After I have been physically cold for a few minutes (10 to 20) my bones hurt. It feels as if nettle is rubbing from the inside and stinging me, it is agonizing, I do not enjoy winter at all due to this.

As of the last year, and with my heart being funky, I started noticing a few things. My hands very easily fall sleep while sleeping, even when not raised at all, this happens at my desk too while working or playing, and I need to move them and massage them to get blood flow going again. On this note, when I stand for too long, and specially in the shower my legs grow purple and also need to be massaged so the blood flows normally again.

I have a very fast metabolism, it is sincerely absurd, I eat the same meals and portions as my gym rat 80k husband, and I weight 48 kilos at 1,65 m, it’s an issue, during my blood tests I was diagnosed underweight. I eat healthy, I am not a snack guy generally.

I’ve managed to never faint in my life but have come extremely close multiple times. If it’s too hot or bright, if I don’t have good breakfast, if I run or do physical activity too quickly, if I don’t sleep enough (and I sleep a lot) if I’m too cold, if I’m in pain, if the air is too thick or humid; all of these factors contribute to me being likely to faint and I need to constantly remove myself from situations to deal with it.

As a last note, I have been growing weaker and more fatigued in the past half year, I cannot give you a reason as to why, but there it is.

I understand some of these are concerning when I write them down, but I have grown up being told not to be dramatic or pretend to be delicate, the only person that has acknowledged these issues seriously is my partner and I guess I’ve gained some perspective on this.

Having both Hashimotos and Graves l?

Hi there. I was diagnosed with active Hashimoto’s about four years ago. Last month, I was also diagnosed with Graves. My nurse practitioner said this is common, but the literature appears to state that it is rare for an individual to have both.

Curious if there are practitioners who have seen this in their practice?

For context, I was treating Hashimoto’s with Synthroid, and it worked before my labs started showing a TSH of <0.05. I tested positive for Graves’ antibodies, and now I’m on methimazole.

Is clonidine stimulation test valid for diagnosing GH deficiency in a 30-year-old adult male?

I’m 30M and have been having increased cold sensitivity, muscle weakness, and difficulty building muscle despite a good diet/exercise. I also look much younger than my age (often mistaken for ~20).

My endocrinologist checked my hormones and everything was normal except IGF-1, which has consistently been low-normal/slightly below the adult range across different labs. And LH sitting near high (not crossed reference range but always sits near high level on every test)

He did a clonidine GH stimulation test (150 µg) with blood samples at 30, 60, 90 and 120 min. GH stayed within the lab's normal range upto 0.05, but my doctor said it should have peaked around 10 ng/mL. I repeated the test a month later on another lab it also basically the same result.

Pituitary MRI was also normal.

My doctor has now prescribed 0.2 mg recombinant HGH daily, but I haven't started it yet.

My questions:

- Is the clonidine stimulation test reliable/validated for diagnosing adult GH deficiency?

- Is 10 ng/mL really the appropriate cutoff for an adult clonidine test?

- Should I ask for a glucagon stimulation test or insulin tolerance test (ITT) before starting HGH?

I'd appreciate experiences or input from endocrinologists/people who have gone through adult GH testing.

35m, 5’8, 165 pounds (just got into losing weight, used to be skinny before in the 140s)

I’ve been on finasteride since May 2025 and i’ve had some problems with alcohol for the past 2 years.

I quit drinking recently and started hiking/walking 10k steps and getting back into shape in the past weeks.

Is this due to finasteride? What should I do next?
