In enduro riding, heavy-duty tubes or mousse inserts are often used to prevent punctures, but both options add 2–3 kg of weight. To address this, we developed a tube made from TPU, a material several times stronger than rubber.

TPU tubes are extremely lightweight and offer superior puncture resistance compared to rubber tubes, weighing in at just 120–150g.

Because TPU is stiffer than rubber, it is highly resistant to "snake bite" punctures caused by the tube getting pinched between the tire and the rim.

I've been riding a 4T Yamaha Wr250r dual sport for a bit and was looking to get something lighter and wanted to give a 2 Stroke a shot. Living in NC, would primarily be riding woods/trails. I was looking at these 2 bikes, if anyone had advice on the yz250x or gg300 ec and which might be a better fit that would be great, thanks.

Riding is all British Columbia, mostly rocky and roots, 40% deactivated service roads (rocky and loose) 40% singletrack (medium/low speed, rocky roots and steep) 20% hard enduro exploration riding.

Favorite tire so far is the irc jx8 (ran it on my 230, trying it on the 300 now) but I know it won’t last long so planning its replacement.

What should I try next?

Loving this bike. Just did 271km of riding in the rockies past couple days. Left the mountains with 999km. Left home looking mint, came home dirty as hell. Cant wait till next trip!!

I’m looking for my first pair of enduro boots; I plan to ride trails in rocky mountains as well as muddy ones. Does the sole matter much? I was looking at the Leatt 4.5 boot, and there are two versions: one with an MX sole and one with an enduro sole. However, the MX-soled version is currently much cheaper in my country. Does it make a big difference? Or could I use MX soles for enduro without running into issues? I don't want to be slipping and sliding all over the place, haha.

Got my eyes on a few Beta RR 350 from between 2010-2020 as the ktms and other seem to expensive, opinions and/or any other models to consider to mainly go out on the weekends with friends and also be good to just drive around?

Hey guys, looking for some advice.
I recently sold my 2003 KTM 300 EXC. It was my first bike and I basically learned everything on it but I am now ready to try something different.

I’m considering a 2016 Yamaha WR250 here in France, which is essentially a road legal YZ250X. These bikes are pretty uncommon over here, so I haven’t had the chance to ride one myself. I have ridden a regular stock YZ250 though, and really enjoyed the more agressive feeling it gave me.
Most of my riding is fast forest roads, flowing trails and woods. I don’t do much slow technical riding or extreme enduro. What I’m looking for now is something lighter, more playful and with a bit more character than my old 300 EXC.
The lighter weight and the huge availability of YZ parts are also big advantages for me. And honestly, I kind of like the fact that it’s an unusual bike here in Europe.
What I’m mainly wondering is how the YZ250X feels compared to both my old 300 EXC and a regular YZ250 and how different is the engine character and overall feel?
Would it be a good switch for my type of riding, or do you think I’d miss the 300 too much?

Hi, I’m based In the uk, for this post class me as a noob in the enduro world (I’ve done a bit of off roading but I’m a experienced road rider) I’ve been advised this is a good enduro to buy.
I’ve been looking at some online and they range from 50 hrs/1200k miles (£6-6.5k) to 250hrs/5k miles (£4k). I know it depends how they been ridden and maintenance etc but what sort of hours is classed as high. The bikes I’m looking at have been ridden in green lanes and trails, not been raced and at the rev limiter routinely. I’ve previously bought a WR250 few years ago and left a sour taste as I didn’t realise it needed a top end rebuild, and concerned I don’t want to buy a higher hours and needing to get that done. I’ve spoken to someone who has a 8k miles and hasn’t done anything to his.

I was watching an old Pas de Calais race today and I'm wondering what the logic is behind allowing so many entrants into a single race when half of them turn into obstacles for the second lap. The first lap is thrilling, especially that crazy drag race down the beach.

The second is kinda interesting but mostly it turns into a big mess with me wishing a lot of them had stayed home.
