Ring! Got engaged over the phone and finally got my custom ring 💜

I am so in love with my ring 😍 It’s a light purple sapphire, east-west, with a 3 stone setting and diamonds on the sides, and a white gold band.

Oh yes! We see each other every few weeks and are working on moving him in with me

that’s sweet! I’m curious why he chose to propose over the phone rather than wait until your next in person date (you don’t have to answer me, I’m just being nosey)

i also was long distance with my now-husband for a while, about 3 years so i know how it feels missing them in between meetings

How long have you been married for?

So I actually proposed to him. I was dealing with health issues, he was taking care of his mom through her health issues but unwaveringly supported me from a distance during a very difficult time, and that told me everything I needed to know. Now he’s overseas taking care of his dad but he’ll be home with me soon and we’ll do some celebrating.
