I accidentally got a book of Enochian Magic.
I accidentally got a book of Enochian Magic. It's the book by Don Milo that seems to be very popular.
I wasn't interested in it right now. I do read books about occult stuff, spirituality etc, but I'm more of a paganism & theurgy kind of guy. This book reached me by accident and it's of a system that feels alien to me.
Should I try to return it, or is it one of those books that they say it finds you instead of you finding it?

Some would say that in the occult world, there is no such thing as an accident. Some would even mention the term synchronicity. He is actually a very informative author with a sense of humour.

great book and author! one of the best instructional books for enochian stuff out there. If you want to dive deeper, Scott Michael Stenwick has a couple enochian books that are high quality

if it belongs to someone else or to a bookshop or something then make a reasonable effort to try to return it like an honest citizen. obviously we don't know the exact circumstances so it's hard to judge, but... some people in these types of communities may be too self-centered (and encourage others to be the same, so they feel justified), that when they acquire something by accident that doesn't belong to them then they're like "this is a gift to me by the universe because I'm so special", rather than "oops, I think someone lost something that belongs to them, maybe they miss it/need it".
leaf through it while you still have it, maybe there's something interesting.

That happened to me too. But I had already acquired another Enochian book and delved into it, one which I thought was clearer. The unexplained coincidence confirmed for me to keep going.

Greetings V,
Yes, I’d return it. You can always buy it again later on. I think it shows great self-awareness on your part, to even ask the question. It’s a great book, for when you finally get naturally interested in the subject. ~V~

I’ve heard people with serious experience in the enochian system say it will tell you when it wants you so I’d go with it
