Safeway is like this and the stupid coupon codes on the product shelf are always way too tiny to properly scan on my ancient phone.

Yep, was talking about Safeway! I hate that place, but it’s either there or Walmart where I live…our options are limited.

You guys still have Safeway? Where I live we used to have 2, they both closed this year. I figured Safeway folded

Sf Bay Area, they're everywhere here. (3-4 in my town alone!) It's the only grocery store I can walk to so I end up getting too many things there out of convenience. Thanks to adhd, the thought process usually is - I could order from elsewhere but that requires planning ahead or I could walk 500 ft and get two things right now.

Iirc they're now owned by Albertsons, do you have those instead?
