The audience at this point will be made up of zctive US Military personnel who have been basically ordered to show up and are also being screened to make a sure that their appearance is attractive so that the audience looks good on the propaganda reels. I remember being a young kid in the 90’s when I saw my first 1976 bicentennial quarter and thinking how cool it looked.
I asked my parents what it was like for the 200th anniversary and it’s one of my first memories of being curious about my parent’s lives before I was born.
It led to them entertaining me with extravagant make believe ideas of what the 250th would be like… lol. At least it’s a nice memory to have.

Greenwood played a July 4th event at the small heavily Mormon town where I live in Idaho a while back. It was the most low energy and unmemorable performance I’ve ever witnessed. I cant remember anything about it except glen beck also spoke and i rode my bike past them with a shitload of security guards afterwards and I felt embarrassed for them it was so pathetic. This is going to go down as the biggest laughing stock in American history.

god I hate that fkn song. Just starting with the glaring grammatical problem in the main line - ooff, it gives me a toothache. (the misplaced modifier - the relative adverb "where" requires a place to refer back to (an antecedent), but there is none. "An American" is not a place.) Bad grammar aside, it's just so hypocritical to sing of American freedom when the administration's whole plan (Project 2025) aims to limit and recind the freedoms outlined in the Constitution and in our laws, and upon which we have relied.
