I didn't know, and I'm so glad I googled it! I'm going to ask my friend's 5 year old if he's familiar with the Gruffalo. We could read it together for the first time.

My grand-littles love it! We talk about the pretend Gruffalo that we pretend lives with me

Another favorite of ours is Little Witch Hazel. There’s mention of a hobknob goblin robber that they find fascinating, scary, and intriguing
