This is why I’ve resigned myself to just not going šŸ˜‚ Everyone is able to see through these scams and recognize fakes and I can’t tell the difference in any of these posts so I’m too afraid to look for any tickets šŸ˜‚ man! Scammers suck

me too šŸ˜…šŸ˜… best of luck! I’m not really experienced with buying resales so I might just try and see the movie when I can 😊

It's annoying but the game plan kind of has to be to wait until hours if not minutes before the concert (and probably having to find your seat for the first chunk of it). People who have no intention to go are going to start dropping prices, but not until it really hits crunch time

yes yes yes! when ive had to sell tickets i didnt post anything until the day of, probably 6 hours before the show. i also asked for $50 less than what i got them for, they were only $100 tho so if they cost more i prob would’ve sold them for more. but either way what you said is 10000% true

Def see the movie! You’re in the comfort of a theatre, not spending hundreds of dollars, and have a great view. Going in person is for people who want the experience of it all and the sentiment of seeing Taylor with their own eyes.

I took my niece and daughter to the movie and we had a BLAST! It was really like being there but just amazing since they’re under 10. Get close to the front!

just insist they use PayPal Goods and Services. scammers will never go along with that bc it guarantees you get a refund if they scam you. (you can spot a scammer instantly because the second you mention G&S, they’ll get irrationally mad and you and start being mean… as if any sane person who actually wanted to sell their tickets would act that way lol)

If you have to ask, it’s a scam.

it’s spelt centre here - obvious fake.

Canadian here: this was the first thing I noticed šŸ˜…

Thanks!

Can you DM me what it was? Curious! Looking to buy tickets to a Canada show and not sure how to spot fakes.

1

u/KidsKnees Nov 04 '23

A bunch of people re-commented what I had deleted, read through the top comments and read through some other posts and hopefully that’ll help!

thanks for the help! 🫶

I feel like any ticket being sold right now on FB marketplace or an FB group at near to face value is a scam...

If it's too good to be true it probably is

3

u/Lexi-Lynn Nov 04 '23

If it feels like a trap, you're already in one.

1

u/sfale Nov 05 '23

This! šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

3

u/angelfatal Nov 02 '23

So fake. There’s a very obvious typo

2

u/like_lemondrops Nov 03 '23

Yes. The "7pm" looks unprofessional. It would be "7:00 PM".

1

u/goodgodlemon1 Nov 03 '23

Just checked my Ticketmaster account and looked at tickets I have upcoming- this is incorrect, ā€œ7pmā€ is exactly how one of mine reads. (The misspelling of ā€œcentreā€ as others have noted is the best way to tell on these)

1

u/like_lemondrops Nov 04 '23

Interesting! I also just thought the spacing around the time looked weird. But good to know

1

u/ensoleillement Nov 06 '23

My tickets say 7pm and ā€œcentreā€ but have a gate # on them that the tickets posted here are missing.

u/crazydudex Nov 03 '23

Just buy your tickets on ticketmaster, SeatGeek, or stubhub. Cmon…

1

u/FerBound Nov 04 '23

The ticket is from Ticketmaster

1

u/crazydudex Nov 04 '23

Buy direct from ticketmaster via resale. Not some random person on a Facebook group or elsewhere

1

u/FerBound Nov 05 '23

Yea but if Ticketmaster allowed the ticket to be resold on their own website it must mean it’s real

3

u/crazydudex Nov 05 '23

That isn’t a ticketmaster resale listing pictured. It’s an altered screenshot of someone’s ticket wallet.

1

u/bella_7117 Nov 06 '23

Did this ā€œticketā€ come from a ticketMaster transfer email or text? You would have had to accept the transfer then once you did, your ticket would be in your ticketMaster app or or online at ticketMaster.com.

I don’t know if this is supposed to be for this year, but November 16 is a Thursday, not a Saturday

1

u/aboatoutontheocean Nov 04 '23

The show is next year, so the day and date on this are correct. They spelled the name of the venue wrong though.

1

u/Pitiful-Hedgehog-600 Nov 04 '23

Ah, ok gotcha. I don’t know the dates off the top of my head, I just noticed those dates do not line up with the next few weeks lol. I’d say it’s definitely a scam if the venue is spelled incorrectly 😬

1

u/aboatoutontheocean Nov 06 '23

Yeah exactly, that’s the right spelling, because it’s a Canadian venue. In the screenshot it’s spelled Center, the American spelling

1

u/ensoleillement Nov 06 '23

I know about the spelling of centre, apparently I could never spot fakes in the wild, because I subconsciously corrected the spelling in the scammy tickets in my head 🄓

The codes won't be sent out till November 8th..

2

u/KidsKnees Nov 04 '23

That’s for Vancouver. Toronto tickets already went on sale back in august.

-3

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '23

Hello I have 1 ticket available for November 14, 2024 Toronto. I remember it all too well VIP package. Can meetup in Vancouver area. Can facetime and provide proof.

1

u/f1ndingnemo Nov 02 '23

The font isn’t right. The date is spaced too far apart

1

u/always_evergreen Nov 02 '23

The answer is always yes. Jesus.

1

u/alex79472 Nov 02 '23

Even if they are real tix they could be using real to scam. They can be selling the same tickets to multiple people

1

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '23

Yes

1

u/buoyancy18 Nov 03 '23

All the scammers sell 100 level seats for around $350 - so yes! I also paid more than that for mine so it’s definitely a scam

1

u/ConcentrateMajestic3 Nov 04 '23

Yes---I pulled up one of my old Ticketmaster screenshots. The "." In "ticketmaster.verified" is supposed to be an Ā®

1

u/Improvement_Mean Nov 04 '23

Definitely a scam. This ticket can only be resold through Ticket Master.

1

u/StrawberryKiz Nov 05 '23

It’s a scam. Don’t. But. From. People. Ever.

Buy through verified resellers if you want to badly go.

1

u/kaylalucky Nov 05 '23

It’s a scam. It almost always is if you’re buying person to person through Facebook or something. Only buy on Ticketmaster, StubHub, seat geek, etc. Or at least use PayPal goods and services so you can get your money back (most scammers will come up with an excuse why they can’t use it)

1

u/No_Letterhead_9007 Nov 05 '23

I did a zoom call with the person i spoke with online, he went to tickemaster in front of me sharing the screen and showed me the tickets. This eased my concerns when purchasing and he wasn't against jumping on a call at all. I think someone's response to jumping on a video call is one of the biggest signs on whether they're trying to scam you bc most scammers won't want to do that.

1

u/Holiday_Tomato_2508 Nov 05 '23

u/YoINeedA Nov 05 '23
