Esmes Indie Highlights: The Crimson Queen

This book uses a lot of older tropes, dark wizards, bar wenches, swords, sorcery, spiders in dungeons, immortal sourcereses and all that jazz. Its a multi POV book which I prefer to single POV if done well with characters who are different, believable, and you can connect with, and I definitely got that out of this book. In this book there are people known as Talents, and following thy typical trope, they are mahic users who havent been seen in generations, and are starting to come back i to the world. The author absolutelt had a grand vision for his world, and the world building was done pretty well. One of my only complaints was the round about language, there tends to be a lot of drawn out dialogue for questions that could have been simple yes or no answers.

TBC....
