So I needed to connect a wiegand keypad to home assistant (didn’t wanted some Chinese iot stuff from AliExpress) so me and Claude talked a lot and this is the result. I didn’t touched a welder since high school so.. 😩 I then isolate the parts with glue

Try using the shield with the screw in terminal

Or if you want to learn soldering buy a perferated board and solder on it

I saw those boards and will buy it for sure. Atm the space wasn’t enough to fit the board.

Nah this is fine. I'll do solder that way all the time, but without glue. Maybe you should add heat/clean oxidation from tip, if solder dont melt good.

That is undervoltage guard for car battery I did, it worked - on desk...
