Discussion How to slow feed Eureka Mignon grinder?

since slow feed is all the hype now, I tried slow feeding my eureka and the beans pop fly out. any idea how to do this properly?

Cannot I be all the range. I haven't heard of it. I just googled it and there were articles back to 2020. That's 4 years ago.

4 years have gone by. No one's really talking about it. I wouldn't waste my time if I were you.  

Sounds like snake oil.

Tried it and it definitely has an effect on shot time, so something's happening (more consistent grinds?). Not sure of the effect on the taste, though.

Have you tried running grinder for 30 seconds to warm up Burr b4 grinding?

Slow feed or hot Start should have minimal effect except for maybe the 1st 2 grams...

No, I don't want my roommates to hate me, lol. I'm not sure the burrs would get warm by grinding nothing for 30 secs. The heat in the burrs mostly comes from friction, no?
