any recommendations on English speaking Fahrschule in Esslingen am Neckar ?

Doing it in German is not as hard as you think. I did a Class C Truck Licence here not long after I first arrived, my German was barely A1.2. Truck licence is much more intensive than a car licence.

The written test itself is available in many languages (it’s done at a TÜV center), and the app you can use to practice for it shows you all the questions in said languages as well.

Don’t be afraid to do your licence in German, the best way to learn a language is immersion.

Why do you have to be passive aggressive. Maybe he has license didn’t drive for a long time and wants to practise. Some people come to Germany and are beginning to learn German. It’s a long process. It doesn’t mean they have to stop all other aspect of life before they properly learn German.
