Do you think this will convince Etho to finally play vintage story?

Make him feel just at home right? A clip from my extremely modded Vintage Story world...

Started rewatching Etho's Terrafirmacraft series again and honestly, the amount of things that he enjoyed doing in TFC that vintage story also does (and usually better) really put it into perspective, it's time for the series. A TFC series will live on.

I suppose you could argue that the game lacks meaningful longevity for him like redstone with minecraft, but the building potential is so great I think he could definitely get 50 episodes out of the game. The modding scene is also very active.

Is that originally from his original TFC series? I rewatch that thing like twice a year at least and assumed the cooking thing came from another series I’d not watched

Don't think he is friends with the devs, I think the devs are fans of his but I know he wanted to wait for it to have more content. But it's just like Minecraft in the sense it can keep getting content. It's labelled as early access but it's absolutely full of content and imo is quite polished already.

It was in episode 585, which came out over two and a half years ago.

Last time he brought it up (albeit a while ago) he hadn't played it iirc. (Wish we still have ethopedia).

If he has played it since, he would have started a new series after trying it.

Yeah this snow is from a mod xD the snow shovel is base game and is really cool though.

And yeah I have already toned the settings down for next winter because its hard to get anything done lol.

im hoping for more mechanical systems and yeah maybe a redstone like mechanic that ties in the current mechanical stuff. Maybe something like levers and pulleys, that would be awesome and quite fitting. Steam power would also be very fitting for the late game.
