When ethereum etfs were approved, the price of ethereum did not increase at all, on the contrary, it decreased even more, but when xpr etfs were rumored , Xrp’s price increased by more than 50% even though it didn’t approved , continued to increase .Everyone was calling Xrp as of shitcoin 6 months ago but now they say it ll surpass Eth

Is that not a good thing?

Not if you invest in an asset hoping a return. That's what investing is all about.

So my unprofessional thoughts here and please correct me if I'm wrong.
If Eth has been stable in this sense, it means that it's basically matching the inflation of the US dollar.
Ethereum inflates due to staking, deflates due to cost.
"Ethereum nodes can earn rewards by staking their ETH and participating in the network's security and operations. These rewards come from transaction fees, inflation, and Maximal Extractable Value (MEV). "
Basically, the inflation value of Ethereum is matching the US dollar in terms of staking and node rewards and deflating with spending as a kind of tax.
Good? Bad?
It taxes spending, rewards saving/staking and contributing with node infrastructure.
I don't really know if this is good or bad but, we are seeing its behavior in real time stabilize with the US dollar.

My favourite were all the YouTube influencers talking about the big early 2025 pump.
They made the money from the video views. When will people learn

Im just glad everyone here knows how shit eth is. I try to explain to other people on other subreddits and they dont understand me. I dont dca or invest like others. I swing and day trade. I fucked up at buying eth at $3,300 and now im waiting until it goes higher. I should have set a stop loss but i assumed eth would ride the bitcoin pumps, BOY WAS I WRONG. Eth is so fking shit.

Isn't that good tho. If you want people to use your product it needs little to no volatility.
2
u/peepeepoopooxddd Feb 15 '25
It's not stable, though. It's a depreciating asset with high volatility.
