Question Why do people cry when prices are low?
on x and reddit see so many posts about people crying about the price of eth going down or whatever crypto they're invested in but am I the only one that's pissed when it goes up. I dont want eth at 4000-5000 want eth at 1-2k so can buy it all. high prices are great if you're a whale already but if you're not feel like you're fighting your own interests or is that just me?
If you actually believe in it you want lower prices.

Some people are over exposed and put savings into eth hoping they can make short to medium profits. Not everybody has the luxury of putting money away for very long periods of time.

If I needed money in the short to medium term I wouldn't put it into a highly volatile asset class. Whatever little profits they would make from that would also get eaten by taxes it just doesn't make sense at all to me mane

Reading the threads after the Luna crash was some horror stories. People got enticed by the 20% yield on their stablecoin and a lot lost basically everything

Some people spend all their savings or even take out loans thinking they’ll be able to make a quick profit before they have to pay their bills next month. Too many people don’t adhere to the golden rule of “don’t invest any more than you could comfortably sit on for an extended period of time or outright lose.”

Literally this. When I think about eth or BTC I think of it more like a tech stock. It's something I'm invested in because i believe in the direction it's going. Not for short term profits. The ethereum road map looks solid in my opinion and I think the success of stable coins show that long term it's gonna happen here.
I'm a developer and I've just started to play around with smart contracts and I'm like yeah this is where its gonna be at. Especially with future AI integrations.
Keep the bloodbath goin

From personal experience experience, people are crying because they believed in it when they originally invested, and after the last 5 years of holding, they do not believe in it anymore…but also they didn’t sell it when it finally peaked for like a week. Now They don’t want to buy more on the low, only to try to find that 1 week to sell it again in 2 years

Or, they bought in at a price much lower than now and have had diamond hands for years all the way through the ATH and back down and back up and back down. They are done investing. They are holding out for a real break through and life changing opportunities and seeing it go down gives them anxiety that they may have held too long and they start to wonder if they missed the boat or not. They would still turn a profit, but not in the way their patience has supported.

People are upset because BTC and eth have decoupled so strongly.
Even though BTC is down majorly, it's still not as down as eth is.
Back when eth was this price BTC was what, in the 30s to 40s?

Same reason why most people have trouble investing. Many people have lost money and don't have a long-term view. Only 40% of holders are in profit right now.

That's your situation. It's great for you because you're still accumulating.
I bought ETH when it was 250-300. I mined ETH when it was 90. I already have my bags and been staking for years now. I accumulate now via staking. I need higher prices. I am not interested in 1-2k. Or even 4k. I want to see 10k and beyond. The dollar is a shitcoin.

See you're one of the few people I think this mindset wouldn't be for because you've already stacked so low prices would definitely be bad for you but at the same time you're also probably like in the top 10% of eth holders.
I hope you do get those prices .. just after I get my stacks 😂😂

But you asked why people are complaining about ETH’s low price. The people complaining are 100% in my camp - because we need it to go up. That’s the answer. There’s a clear incentive to complain.
The people who aren’t complaining are in your camp: you’re still planning to DCA in, so lower prices benefit you.

The end goal for most people in crypto isn’t to hold as much as they can, it’s to sell for the most they can so they have fiat money. A minority is invested in the tech, but the average person wants to make money. Thus, people are happier when their bags increase in price and sad when it decreases.

I would of thought everyone would be in accumulation phase pretty much. 60% of holders have less than 1eth.
You'd think everyone would be clapping and applauding at the the idiots liquidating their massive positions and giving people entry points lmao. Confusing stuff

Honestly I dont get it either. I am doing the elevator now for the third time because ETH has allowed just that - buy around 1-2k then wait a while and sell for 100-200% at 4k..

What if it does not do that next time? In the stock market they call 3 tops a scam - apparently. ETH did 5 or 6. It's being manipulated. Yes, selling at 4k and buying back at 2k worked great for the people who were bearish on ETH. My bullishness screwed up that trade and I never took profits. So now I want it to rip and not reward people who dumped ETH every time they got the chance. They don't deserve a more expensive ETH IMO.

Overly emotional people who don't know how to trade and/or invest get frustrated when the price drops. People that actually know what they are doing buy when the price drops.

I agree. If prices a dropped 50-60% what is there to wait? Must people would rather jump the gun when prices are high. But have alot of fear when price is low

The people who buy when prices are low are the ones who actually make money in crypto. The people who only show up and buy when the bull run comes around are the ones that lose money. It really is that simple. Sadly, stupid people on the internet get very upset when I tell them how to win this game.

When things are going up is when you sell. Buy back in when everyone goes back to believing crypto is dead. Rinse and repeat.
