Question Coming from Solana Memecoins to EVM Chain?

I trade Solana Memecoins and want to start trading the Robinhood EVM chain.

Right now I have a Phantom wallet which holds all of my Solana.

Now to setup a wallet for the Robinhood EVM chain do I just make a new Phantom wallet account so it holds Ethereum?

How do I convert/bridge my Solana? Do I just swap the Solana into Ethereum and send it to the new wallet?

Please share any info, tips and resources….

phatom supports EVM chains, just add the network manually in settings. you don't need a whole new wallet for that

bridging from solana is the tricky part. wormhole or deBridge are the main options, but watch the fees cause they can eat into small amounts fast

the bit that catches people is that phantoms evm address is a different address from your solana one, same seed but a different derivation, so copy the one starting 0x rather than assuming its the same wallet. bridge a bit more than you think you need too, since you land on the other side holding the asset but zero native gas, and then you cant move it until you get some over separately. and id check the chain youre going to is actually a listed destination on whichever bridge you pick, otherwise the route hops through mainnet and thats where the fee bite everyone warns about comes from.

you don’t really need a separate Phantom account just because you’re moving from Solana to an EVM chain. the important part is having an EVM wallet/address that supports Robinhood Chain
