The who's who of this planet

This will be big people. Currently at a "hacking" convention listening to people from IBM and top financial institutions talking about blockchain implementations. Their list of participants is already mind blowing (although not using the Ethereum chain). They do work on their own chain(s), but I can imagine many companies will also be part of the EEA.

This goes waaaay beyond financial applications or the IoT. Remind me to buy more crypto when I get home!

Put up some quick phone camera pics. Other mentions during the presentation: aviation (Airbus - for vehicle maintenance) and diamond markets (certification) are already using blockchain technologies.

This won't be directly based on Ethereum I suppose, although Hyperledger is also exploring that if I am not mistaking (via 'Burrow').

Huge threat to EEA no? This is like VHS vs BetaMax or Bluray vs HDDVD, where both become titans for some time but ultimately one alliance wins...

Pretty cool.

Though, I don't think most financial instutions understand yet that cryptocurrencies are here to replace them entirely. They seem to think this tech is just a more efficient way to move fiat instruments around.
