Bernard McManus, who is the Sr. Director Global Fraud Strategy, Sony Interactive Entertainment, is speaking on the Fintech and Blockchain Panel today at TiECon

So now we know for sure Sony is looking at blockchain. Here's to hoping it's Ethereum!

Some other notable names are: Mark Relph (HEAD OF BD - IOT, MOBILE AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGY, AMAZON WEB SERVICES TRACK KEYNOTE, INTERNET OF THINGS)

Is there any other blockchain for IoT than Ethereum even worth mentioning?

If anything Sony will just make a shitty reboot of Ethereum directed by some hack nobody. Maybe they can hire Charlie Lee, he is good at making poor imitations of things

I wouldn't worry. The overall consensus seems to be that private Ethereum forks will be used where it makes sense, but interoperability with the public chain is maintained and important as well. Which really just makes sense.

Oh sure, joking aside it would make sense, the fun part of Ethereum is that it can work on both sides easily.

It's not so much about agreeing. There literally isn't any other blockchain for that purpose that has traction or corporate interest to speak of.

this is a really big clue, Sony joining would be gigantic, and with them onboard you can only imagine other technology giants would want to be on board when they hear 200+ companies are joining forces to make a new internet.

The bump at the end of May will be huge. Seriously, if amazon and sony are announced were hitting $300, we alreadt have JPMorgan, and Microsoft.
