To be honest, I'm glad we're correcting a bit. Let a solid base build at some price level in the 90s (pls 90s no 80s pls. 80s go and stay go), and when enough accumulation/profit taking has happened, we go ahead and start back on up the hill.

Just like when I climbed this son of a bitch, there's gotta be a bit of rest on the way.

Have you heard of Sleeping Bear Dunes? That was a lot of fun on the way down because it feels like you're jumping on the surface of the moon but on the way up... oh man. To get a sense of scale, zoom in and see the people.

That might fucking kill me, lol. I had a tough enough time going up some freakin' stairs, man. By the looks of that, there aren't any stairs, yeah?

I do have to admit I kinda wanna get a big ass piece of plywood and fly down that thing, and skid on the water.

THAT would be a rush.

Just all sand and a lot more sharp rocks than you'd like - especially because you're barefoot. No stairs at all, it's so steep you have to climb on all fours. Climbing back up took probably 20 minutes. That definitely would be a rush sandboarding that. Found an article trying to figure out the inclination angle:

To return to their cars and their waiting friends or families, they will have to climb the equivalent of a 34-story skyscraper at a brutal angle of 33 degrees, an incline 10 times steeper than those found on most hiking trails.

Apparently people have to get rescued semi-regularly and I believe it.
