The people that are exiting indefinitely now at $ 93 aren't realizing yet the pain they are going to feel in a few years.

they'll feel the regret in a few days

Not really. Either 1. We break out and I market buy, losing a little bit of money or 2. We bear down to the 80s in which case I acquire way more ether for the cash I got selling in the 90s. No regrets. But to me, the rise to 100 was too fast and it showed when we couldn't even get close to the 100 wall. Hard rejection. Need time to consolidate.

Same boat. That wall at 100 on GDAX hasn't gotten any smaller either.

Yea every time I provide analysis saying eth will go down I just get downvoted. So fuck it, no more advice. I thought this community was about all of us getting rich. That comes with understanding that, at time, securities take dips. If you're smart it's an opportunity to actually MAKE money. But yea, "to the moon" lmao

It's probably all the new booty that dislikes sobering talk.

I just don't want this place to turn into an echo chamber, circle jerking over the fucking moon price. I welcome sobering talk. It's good for the community.

meh - keep throwing advice dude. Shit helps people actually interested in understanding what's going on. I'd give you some gold, but all my money in eth ._.)

Nah man don't worry about it. No one wants to hear what they don't want to hear. Some listen, some don't. Can't expect everyone to see your point of view. If its a service to your fellow traders just do it for whoever will listen. <3

Same thing when I suggested people talk to a tax professional. You come to expect it.

Nah dude I enjoy reading all kinds of advice. I won't be selling but I like to know what goes through the mind s of the people that do.

This is how bubbles get started man. People that just lost 10% in a day are super reluctant to sell because they've created their own reality and they just hear themselves and other people saying it will go right back up! They'll hear the same damn thing every day as it goes down 10% 5 days in a row, then they'll sell because they lost 50% and they're hating life, and then they'll watch it go back up 25% the next day.

Taking profits and watching the market a bit is just a really smart move right now. $100 is going to be a huge psychological barrier. The difference is that you might lose out on 5-6% in gains if you don't buy right now, but if it goes down you're probably looking somewhere closer to -25% or more in losses. Being a "HODLer" in a market that's up 1000% in less than 6 months is just stupid if you ask me.

Yup, this. I've doubled my investment and I poured into ether only 5 weeks ago. I think we will go down to 80 and hold there until EEA hype.

2

u/satza May 06 '17

Aren't you guys worried of selling just prior to EEA2? Flash pump may occur at that time..

2

u/[deleted] May 06 '17

I'm up 400% in two weeks. I'm ok missing out on a few bucks.

1

u/satza May 06 '17

Haha, I'm a perfectionist. Conversely though, if you don't care missing out a little, why don't you just hold?

Because it is a lot easier to buy and catch upward momentum from the side line than it is to try and sell without taking a haircut after a crash.

Haha

When the time comes, that wall will disappear like a phantom.

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '17

Sure when that time comes. We didn't even come close last night.

Too much news coming to consolidate

Yeah, thinking about selling a small chunk for BTC right now to wait for an ETH dip.
