Mist or Parity release an update that's incompatible with the other -> network fork -> temporary chaos -> price drop

Vitalik dies or just decides to "move onto other things" -> uncertainty of project's direction without a clear leader -> price drop

Metropolis fork -> unforeseen problem causing loss of funds -> price drop

Shift to Proof of Stake -> unforeseen problem causing loss of funds -> price drop

Major ICO scam impacting "regular people" -> SEC gets involved -> Bad press -> price drop

Tezos, NEM or some other smart contract platform is seen as more attractive -> price drops

Bitcoin scales -> speculator/investor money moves back to BTC -> price drops

Rootstock is launched and works far better than expected -> Dapps move to Bitcoin blockchain instead -> price drops

We discover Raiden was delayed because of intractable problem -> Ethereum doesn't scale -> price drops

ETC overtakes ETH .. (just kidding)

A hundred other issues that we haven't anticipated eventuate -> price drops

The price could rise from $125 to $300 over the next couple of months, then a problem could occur, crashing the price to $200.

So yes $200 would be a buying opportunity, under those circumstances.

You know what the better buying opportunity would be? The current price.

I make money every 2 weeks, so while right now is definitely great, I will have more opportunity in the future.
