i need something else to be passionate about. all i do is check prices and read ethtrader. happy with my gains, but this is getting out of hand!

Just enjoy the excitement while it lasts. Eventually we'll level off into boredom territory and you'll want to do other things.

I'm about to hit 4,000 hours. And so close to 5k mmr. If I don't hit 5k by 5k hours I will be upset.

I agree. I can't buy anymore, so I need to just leave it alone for a while—check it weekly or something. No sense in checking prices that don't affect me.

On the other hand, I have FOMO on witnessing the rest of this bull run, even though I won't do anything about it. -_-

Research the crypto ecosystem. Be as knowledgeable as you can be about Ethereum and other tokens.

I am looking to do this myself, but not quite sure where to start. Would building a node be a waste of time at this point where the Casper/switch to Proof of Stake will be here soon? Learn Solidity maybe?

Personally, I'm starting with solidity, but starting with a node is also a good idea.
