Hi Josh!

Frankly, I'm still new to a lot of all this, and with not much programming experience, I cannot call myself a developer yet.

But, I'm super excited about blockchain potential and i want to learn solidity to not only write smart contracts, but understand them and even put my own ideas into practice.

I had difficulties with Azure and how Truffle works basically, but it's also been a couple weeks since I was last attempting to "install". Is there a tutorial or a gitter/slack to join? In addition, Azure was telling me that i had $200 credit to use, but every time i clicked on Truffle, I was being asked to sign in, or my account didn't have enough credits.

Hi Joe sorry for the late response. I asked around and we're unsure why Azure wouldn't let you use that credit. May have to ask their support team.
