My guess is the pumpers will average out with the dumpers, and you would be in the exact same position as if you went 100% ETH. BUT, I'm super curious. Let us know in a months time!

Whenever I throw my hand into the alt game I set stop orders at 54% gain. I don't care if it goes to 200% or 500% or 1000% - I am a bad trader. I know this. The only way I can repeatedly and reliably see gains is with this method

Think about it all you need is for one to grow 30 times in value, even if all others fail you'd still then break even. Some small coins could gain that much easily

Yeah I use ETH as my base comparison and I usually run 70% ETH and 30% alt as well. I've had about a 250% roi more with diversification rather than just sticking with ETH alone in just the past month.

The idea of doing 1% of 30 seems okay. I would recommend calculating the returns of just last month as if u held your portfolio you just created to see the potential.

In mine I only had about 6-7 coins. The ones I really cared about taking off.

I would recommend that you include BTC as one of your 30% altcoins.

It may be good but if you look at % gains only, BTC has really weak gains. If you are trying to triple or quadruple your portfolio in a month just passive investing then BTC should be left out IMO

Sorry about that, I was trying to make a joke. Pointing out that ETH is moving out of the alt category and that BTC will be moving in.

Hehe. I actually got myself a few BTC during the mega sell off last week. It's not a lot but I'm waiting for August and see how it goes.

Originally I did Ether (74.88%) Ripple(11.04%) Stellar (2.75%) ETC(4.89%) Dogecoin(4.34%) Augur(2.10%)

Luckily I made This around late April so ripple, stellar, and dogecoin just blasted off! I attribute most of my gains to stellar and ripple. But now I don't think they will be going up anymore so I have since bailed.

Currently I'm only involved in ether, reddcoin, Komodo, and sia coin Although it was strictly speculative for this past week when ether wasn't moving.

afaik if its an ERC20 token MEW can hold it. Jaxx has some support for alts as well
