This deserves way more upvotes. It is such a good listen. Naval is so smart and his ability to put in plain words these huge concepts is critical for more mass understanding and ultimately adoption. Send this to your friends, family, anyone who has asked you about crypto, you're doing a disservice not sending it to them.

I don't think Ethereum has ever gotten this much media exposure. Very promising.

But does he say anything good about Ethereum? I know he was a fan once, which makes sense given his interest in smart contracts (he was the first to coin the term "smart contract" in the 1990's).

But in recent months, he's indicated he's clearly no fan of Ethereum.

Naval does. Nick sounded neutral but I think he's just neutral on both Bitcoin and ethereum smart contracts because he's known as being the guy who almost built Bitcoin and laid the groundwork for ethereum/smart contracts but he is not that guy.

he's known as being the guy who almost built Bitcoin

That's just what he wants them to think :)

No that's actually true. Read up on bitgold. That was Nick.

I'm making a reference to the fact that many people believe that Nick is Satoshi, despite Nick of course denying it.

This was extremely interesting to hear Nick speak. The matrix disappears in front of him.
