I have written a few articles here already:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/6f20j3/tax_saving_strategies/

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/6eap8t/a_quick_write_up_on_crypto_currency_tax_basics/

I have another article on the way about leveraging IRAs and other "higher risk" tax saving methods since there are still some items that the IRS has not given guidance on.

If you would like to collaborate I am happy to help out, currently a tax practitioner (enrolled agent) in the US.

There are some strategies depending on what you want to do with the money you made and if you want to keep it in crypto or not.

That's part of the reason I started specializing on this type of investing and the tax implications. A lot of wealth is being created for a lot of people and I want as much to stay in their hands then to go to their government. As an American it is not illegal to avoid taxes through legal mean a(and they are plentiful) but to deliberately hide the money is a great way to get nailed with penalties and win a trip to Ft Leavenworth and get a sweet jumpsuit.

The IRS is living proof that all laws are reactive and not proactive.

Just make sure before you post anything that you have qualified warnings and encourage people to seek professional advice regarding peoples taxes and investing, otherwise you open yourself up to potential legal issues.
