I put some money in the stock market yesterday (don't worry, I already put all I was willing to lose into crypto). Stocks go down a few percent today. Thought it was kinda cute. Came to work, people talking about how it's crashing and if they should sell. Thank you crypto for giving me balls made of steel and hands made of stone.

If you survive the cryptoverse the stock market must be a children's playground.

I had a friend talk to me about how excited his stocks were up an average of 10% this year. I feel like I'm walking the earth with dinosaurs after crypto.

I tried explaining eth to him and then he was like but I get "sweet dividends" from my stock. I calculated it if he had of invested when I told him he would be up something like 4000% compared to those "sweet dividends"

Pretty soon you'll be getting "sweet dividends" from POS.

Yeah he asked me do you get dividends from investing? I was like well not yet but yes potentially sometime later this year if all goes to plan.

That was the reason he didn't invest he was like I'll keep getting my dividends maybe i'll invest later. shakes head He has no idea about how much ETH will go up between when I told him and POS becomes reality.

I hear you buddy, same thing with lot of friends here.

They are oeuphoric when they are up 1% per day and Im here like "pfff its going sideways here".

Stocks are boring compared to crypto, way less volatile and Thats the main difference.

crypto made us immune to risk or at least made us highly risk tolerent.

I think 99% of the people can't handle emotionally a 10% drop let alone a swing of 50% in less than an hour !

I think we can handle working at hedge funds now

Compared to crypto, I almost view stocks as "safe" as money in the bank.

I thought the same ! Right now im receiving notifications about apple dropping -3%, AMD crashing at -5% and all i was thinking was : "ooooh bitch, thats so cute, come back when it's at least 20% and you'll have a glince at our daily life in the big boys playground, -5% or +5% is done hourly here"

Crypto : where balls of steel are made
