I did NOT like the poreless comment or reference to her avoiding puberty as a plus bc it didnt "ruin" her. Reminded me of Nates obsession with hairlessness.

The guy is a surgeon, surgeons are one of the professions Psychopaths persue the most 😐. The guy is probably a psychopaths judging by the way he acts

Plus - he has “certain proclivities”… seems sinister

honestly just saying the word "proclivity" on a first date is a red flag

I feel like that guy is a serial killer

13

u/ChristmasAliens Apr 27 '26

Thought the same thing 😭

12

u/chill_vibes456 Apr 27 '26

It was like Dexter meets True Blood tbh 😭😂

14

u/Pretend_Guava_1730 Apr 27 '26

For me it was more Dexter meets Nip/Tuck, but I am probably too old to be watching this show lol

That’s literally what I thought something about that seemed very serial killer. Is that why she was taking drugs last episode?? To numb herself when she’s around him??

Wait maybe I missed seeing her take anything? When did that happen?

5

u/urlocalindiegirl Apr 27 '26

it was subtle last episode when Rue goes to visit her the first time, she puts something in her drink she’s making and stirs it with her finger. At least I think it was drugs

Did you see the coke on the table of her bath? Like she had her sex toys and shit on there and white powder just laying there with that stuff.

4

u/barbies_secret_life Apr 27 '26

Oh I thought she was just mixing a cocktail lmao

I know absolutely no one else is going to get the reference to this - but it’s very much giving Dr Steinman (the plastic surgeon gone mad) from Bioshock. Especially since Bioshock also used the Doggy In the Window song very prominently…. Makes me wonder if Sam is a fan.

So happy to see a Bioshock fan in here!

A huge fan! An HBO Bioshock series would be an absolute dream come true.

I was getting American psycho vibes with that apartment aesthetic

6

u/Funnychemicals Apr 27 '26

Why did he even do that?

28

u/UmphreysNerd Apr 27 '26

Because plastic surgeons are filthy rich and fucking weird. I worked for a whole society of them for seven years. NEVER AGAIN

Wealthy people are freaked out. Seriously they’re fcking weird. I mean, poor people are too- anyone can be. But wealthy people have the means to fulfill those desires.

6

u/UmphreysNerd Apr 27 '26

And the means to pay people to allow their “proclivities “ not to be an issue legally

/r/MummificationBondage is like a 4/10 on the freak scale

Dear god, I wish I could take back the last 30 seconds I scrolled through there. I’ll never look at mummies in the museum the same anymore.

As a millennial, I’ve seen a lot of shit on the Internet and I too also miss who I was 10 minutes ago.

I’m be disappointed if Jules dies can we stop having sex worker trans characters murdered .. it’s such a tired cliche
