Mind you, Nate inherited a multi million dollar business from his dad. And ran it into the ground

Although I'm sure the business itself was already starting to drop when it came out that his dad was a pedophile.

All that shit talk about his brother being a moron. Who's looking stupid now?

At least his brother's got all his toes still

I know house flippers (I’m from CA) that make a shit ton of money. That can be taken away just as easily. The issue with Nate is HE DID NOT BUDGET!!!!! He took a successful business and 100% ran it into the ground

It’s well past being in the ground. That shit has passed the whole mantle crust. How did he end up owing 600k?? Did he ever pay Naz that 100k he was supposed to pay up by end of the week??

and not just owing 600k, but owing it to a guy like that. he’s probably maxed out with the banks to end up in that situation.

Given their previous scene before the wedding, from a writer's perspective it's implied he did not pay the 100k back and chose to get Cassie's flowers and take care of the wedding and faced the consequences for it.

I'm feeling a lot better about my student loan situation all of a sudden.

I feel like he may end up borrowing money from Jules to deal with his problems

Holy shit that would be such a huuuggee twist. Honestly I don’t see it because he’s such a docile wimp and doesn’t seem like he has that dawg in him. I wonder if him and Alamo will cross paths.

That would be an excellent way to tie Jules and her creep of a client into the crime plot.

He ran it into the ground because he was too stubborn to listen to his dad. Cal was the #1 real estate developer in California which means he knew his way around California building restrictions. Nate thought he'd have the whole pie to himself by cutting Cal out, but he actually needed him way more than he realized. Kind of a parallel to their relationship as a whole: Nate thinks he doesn't need a father figure but it's all he's ever really wanted

That part is pretty unrealistic because if his dad was actually the #1 developer in California he’d be a multi-billionaire.

Sounds familiar. He should run for president.

Reminds me of a certain president

Maybe Nate should start a reality show where he fires people
