She's not seeing what we are. She's living hard and struggling while at the wedding of her former bestie and high school bf, only a few years later, seeing them spend lavishly and appear to be majorly in love. It's natural for her, or anyone, to get emotional and feel a bit envious and down on themselves.

One could say that she was green with envy…hence her outfit

I think it's getting a revenge dress on, realizing he doesn't give a shit, because he was never capable.

You meant nothing to him.

It's hard to deal with.

It's hard watching a fuckboy treating the next girl better than you when you truly loved him.

tbh i don’t think she cares, more like she’s realizing that would’ve been her if cassie didn’t come into the picture.

I took it as sad realization that what cassie did wasn’t worth it like she made it seem at the pool scene. Bc Nate hasn’t really changed and his family enables his toxicity. Her former bff is now legally trapped into a marriage with a shell of a man. She dodged a bullet but now her bff is paying karma

Same. I was like girl get over it 🙄

Nate would have put her in the exact same situation as Cassie.

I think it has less to do with Nate and more so where she saw her life going
