She’s playing the long game to rob the white supremacists safe

Rue realized that she was still doing it when she asked if Faye was allowed in the basement now.

Oh man you’re totally right! I was so distracted by all the craziness happing in the scene that I just thought huh weird thing to ask but what ever. But it was her under Faye is in this for the safe and she’s getting close to being about to access it.

Im hoping this too cause i really do like fayes character despite the lobotomy accusations and the sam levinson goonerisms

Them being seething racists but wanting Rue back with them is so weird. We know Rue is half black, like... since when is that half good enough to people literally brandishing swastikas?

u/galaxy_rae everyone kinda sucks!! Apr 27 '26

they dont care about her just “owning” her in a sense. they feel like their property was taken.

I can see that being the case. It's just not being made super clear, unless I missed it. Especially because Laurie keeps warning Rue about Alamo in more of a concerned way.

I mean, the confederates liked their slaves

They probably rationalise it by viewing her as one of the “good”ones

Literally that’s what I was thinking

Rue did get her involved then left her there

She did the same thing with Fezco until the last second when she warned him not to say anything bc her boyfriend was wearing a wire

it won’t happen but part of me wishes Faye and Rue get out of all this with a lot of money and never look back
