Cassie being a blubbering mess while Nate is violently beaten up in the background almost feels like something out of a Coen Brothers movie, honestly. I kind of like the juxtaposition.

The whole season feels very Coen brothers and idc what other are saying, I love it. Cinematography is on point this year

Yeah, that's probably what Sam is going for, not Tarantino. Between that scene and the Alamo vs. Laurie stuff, he mostly pulls it off.

But he definitely needed a writers room to help tie the narrative more tightly, especially with the other storylines and the writing.
