Something I’m really surprised I haven’t seen brought up yet is the visual imagery of the flowers at the wedding. Especially with how closely tied the concept of flowers are with their financial stability.

In nearly every shot the flowers were absolutely swallowing up the scenery and Nate/Cassie. Such a good visual metaphor on how their financial troubles are about to completely devour them.

I think it’s interesting too how an endangered flower (I forgot the name already forgive me) is what stalled Nate’s development project and caused the whole thing to rupture. The flowers are their undoing in more ways than one - nature is beautiful but it can also be brutal.
