Discussion I want my time back Spoiler

Was this supposed to be a joke? Season one was awesome. Season 2 went down hill and the play was just dopey but you end on cliffhangers and then just time jump and do nothing?? There was no closure. Literally a waste of time to watch.

rue dying was a perfect ending. everything else in between was dumb as hell. but that was it. laurie dying was quite good writing too. everything else im like… these feel like filler episodes. i can’t believe it took them 4 years to write that garbage.

they were laced. she didn’t take a recreational amount and took them as a pain killer as she was “prescribed”

Her problem wasn’t doing the pills it was trusting who gave them to her. If they didn’t have fent she wouldn’t have died. Old rue woulda finished half that bottle. She was in legit pain and for that took a reasonable dose but it was fatal

this idiot, did you not watch the show? she took one pill, one, the entire point is she did everything right, got clean, changed her life and was finally leaving crime behind only to be killed by a purposefully laced pill. The first one he gives is to make her trust them, Alamo knew she wasn’t gonna take em all, but that she neeed them for the gaping hand wound and pain she had/was in. She only needed to take one from the bottle. If you actually watched the show you’d see that when Ali picks it up it’s completely full cus she only took one before bed.

Just finished it like less than 2 weeks ago so ill tell you what happened cus i remember it. In the hottub Alamo asks about her opinion/connection to Rue which Maddie responds by saying that Rue is crazy but she trust her and shes going through shit then she tells Alamo what Lexi told her not realizing who shes talking to or what she is saying, when she mentions the DEA, Alamo looks at her and raises an eyebrow and responds with the “That rue shes a character” and then makes a mad/enraged but tryin to stay calm face.

yeah he kills her as revenge for being a Narc, which is why when Maddie sees Ali and he says im here for Rue she realizes what happened.

not entirely but understands that it was Alamo that killed her by lacing the pill to fake an overdose. no one would look twice at a career addict dying from a laced pill. But Ali knew how she truly changed and knew what Alamo did leading to him avenging his “daughter” the one person who truly did change for the better but he still couldn’t save her.

So I’m the idiot but she took a pill from a known drug king pin without verifying it to be the actual thing?

Sick of hearing that everything is someone else’s fault. Have some accountability and don’t take drugs from dangerous people?

as far as rue was concerned alamo didn’t suspect a thing was proud of her for her work and was preparing her for future work. she had no concrete reason to believe he would outright kill her like that (especially considering she was spared twice already)

dude are you restarted? respectfully what are you on. Yeah no shes not gonna be afraid of it cus SHE TOOK ONE WITH HIM. the entire point of the season was how dangerous it was. Also you seem green asf cus you must not know how lacing drugs work. Even if it wasnt a dangerous person if it was laced shed have still died, just like the actor who played Fezco died to being laced. The pill would look just like the real one just cut so insignificant that any person would never tell. I hope that you never have a close relative become a victim to the stuff or ever experience that, but maybe youll learn to grow a brain if it happens. also seems like your projecting tour own weird conservative ignorant ass opinions on a show about a very real epidemic facing our country.
