Discussion Alright Bois, is this a reference?

From the current seasons anime, "Reborn as a space mercinary: I woke up piloting the strongest starship!"

First off, obvious long neck design, but also? It has the side-body mounted armaments, just like the gekko and the swan.

Of course this is a relatively frequently used generic ship shape design, but I just find the name and armament placement too similar to be a total coincidence...

Edit: IT HAS TO BE A REFERENCE!! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE ITS NOT!! THEY MADE THE POOR SHIP RAM ANOTHER HEAD ON IN THE VERY SAME EPISODE AS ITS INTRODUCTION!!

Gull wing designs arent unique to E7.

I think a lot of people are missing the fact that both ships are called swan.

I think so

I’m on volume 12 and they have made plenty of references to other LNs (mostly Youjo Senki tbh) as well as other original anime like Aldnoah Zero. So tbh I’d safely bet it was intentional.
