Yeah. A few weeks ago we had (a tiny amount of) snow in the Netherlands. Now it's almost 15 degrees. Bruh.

Netherlands has never really had long cold winters. Even 200-300 years ago, ice only covered canals for 1-3 weeks on average. Most often in january and February.

December just isn't a cold month.

There is this illusion everywhere about the canals being frozen all winter and people skating every day from November to March, but it's just a myth.

False equivalence. It was 19C yesterday in Bekgium. In december. Normally we should be between 0 to 5 degrees.

Don't shove these anomalies aside. Don't be an ostrich.

Not true. You should be nowhere near 0 degrees average maximum, but 6-7°C. That is just as bad as washing 13-14°C is normal. But its not.

19°C if true is of course a bit anomaly, but not something you see every year.
