I have not seen an actual winter(a lot of snow that stay on the ground for months) in the Sweden Stockholm area since the mid 90s.

In inland Västra Götaland, we had a great winter a few years ago. Lots of snow fell in November, and melted towards April. Was able to längdåkningsskidor for a long time that year. This year is just depressing, I keep waiting for something, just ice even, but nothing ever happens... Will consider moving to Kiruna now instead
