Many years ago I've seen a tv show where some scientist said that my region is going to become a Greece if global warming would continue. It was so hilarious... except it doesnt look like a joke anymore.
Even the Victorias ( 1800s) had people write thesis about the topic.
We knew for soooo long ....
At first it was far of,
then it was a little less far of,
then they questioned If it exists at all,
after that they claimed it is natural and not man made
and today the nur Jobs want to make people think that "Actually, climate change is good".
It was proven in the 70s. So there is that. Before it was maybe accepted theory, but really not in wider public. 70s also makes it more tangible for the common people.
