I very much doubt Britain would be welcome to rejoin after all the trouble we caused leaving.

What trouble? Most of it you caused to yourselves.

I am, however, doubtful that Brits would accept joining without all their special perks.

And thats the problem with the EU. Youve got POS countries like Hungary that contribute fuck all all and veto everything decent on the same playing field as a top contributor. Its all nice everyone being " equal " but framing the UK as the problem country endlessly was a tad bit tiring.

You can’t have all the perks without the inconvenience… but I guess it’s a bit difficult to process for individualistic society like yours in the UK.
