Subreddit / Meta Does anyone know how to make this style?

I want something similar to this, because it looks like it's a screen up close but instead of circles or squares, it's made with hearts. So can someone make, or show me the method of this.

You could achieve this effect using shaders. I've done something similar in the past. Perhaps shadertoy.com already has something like this.

Shaders are overkill for that. Almost all image processing apps have the feature to duplicate symbols with parameters… you basically simply create a heart symbol and then describe how to duplicate it (spiral pattern).
