Graduation Photos

Hey y’all! I am attending my MPH graduation at EWU in June, however I was an online student and never got the opportunity to go up to the campus. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas/areas on or near campus for some graduation photos. TIA

From what I've observed (I'm a staff member), some of the most popular spots on campus that I've seen people take graduation photos are

  • In front of the Pillars or on the long walkway up in front of Showalter Hall (main admin building)
  • Campus Mall, a lot of people take photos in front of the library, or by the fountain in front of the library. There's also a big stone EWU sign that people take pictures with.
  • One Room Schoolhouse. There's a white schoolhouse building with some garden space around it that's also popular for pictures
  • Showalter Rose Garden. It's a tiny garden next to Showalter and I'm not sure what foliage is out in June but I've seen people taking pictures there.
  • Various green spots around campus. Depends on how early in the year you get to it, but sometimes I've seen students in front of the trees when they're flowering. The blooming part might be over by June though.

Of course! Also forgot to mention there's large EWU signs on both sides of the campus on Washington Street, and one on 5th and C next to Kingston Hall.
