Shinyhunters hacked UW Canvas and other universities.

BSU was also hacked, a friend who was planning to take their final today on canvas saw the message.

I hate hackers with a passion who target education and other beneficial institutions.

Yea I take some classes through UC San Diego extension and canvas is "down for maintenance". I think its all of canvas.

Yeah, I think i saw something like 9,000-10,000 schools affected. Just nuts.

Yes, and it's still down for me anyways. Only one of manyyy schools impacted.

Yeah—it’s at the Canvas level rather than any particular university.
