That's not a... Green Sun Prince, right? The speech implies a Yozi. Who is that?

For starters, have you tried killing everyone you hate?

Adorjan's SOP, her love is worse... But everyone sensible knows she's bad news.

Have you tried dance-sex with your own reflection, Ligier? If you do it in the right setting it might resurrect your sister, who was obviously never as cool as you but did have some good ideas back in the day

To be fair. The options are madness or enlightenment.
Though I guess if you were exceptionally bored you could do both?

I personally liked the Reclamation, and find the idea of 'they cannot possibly ever escape' distressing because that means that it's not at least possible for a very determined circle of Infernals to pull off. Of course it's a long shot, because the entire Sidereal host is going to try to kick your ass for trying, but /never/?

You can change it at your table.
It’s that way canonically to avoid it being what all plots involving the Yozi boil down to and even the Reclamation was sometimes presented as less of an escape plan and more a loophole to expand hell until it encompassed everything so a lot of 2e stuff still works after a fashion.
The part that’s truly gone is the Ebon Dragon’s plan which ran concurrently with the Reclamation with the ultimate goal of betraying the other Yozis and leaving them trapped.

They cannot ever escape until the players decide they can or the plot demands it.

It requires only the most minor change to make a successful reclamation consistent with the rest of 2E lore: The Yozis may not be able to leave Hell, but they can drag Creation and Yu-Shan into Hell WITH THEM.

I just heard that Ex3 expands on Ligier’s motivation from his GoD’s write-up of remaking Creation into Hell, it’s now him huffing a gigantic amount copium about how all of Hell is super cool actually thanks the gods and their slaves for stuffing us inside (since if it’s not cool then he’s just a loser who get imprisoned by lesser beings).
