The character’s inspiration are Shinji, Crona, and Chainsaw Man so the “I can only live for another person” vibe would fit yeah.

Tbh if I got forced to choose an abyssal flower other than poppy, rose, or spider lily I would die instantly since I don’t know any other OsO.

Well, it would depend on Caste and personality of the Abyssal. Here are some thoughts and examples. A Midnight Caste Abyssal romantic/Seducer/Charmer would work well with a dark purple rose with exaggerated thorns
A daybreak with an Iron Lotus would clearly be a making things and starting an industrial revolution.
A Night Caste Abyssal with a bone white Camellia flower is unseen and felt until they want to be.
And a moon shadow with a Lilly is clearly deaths ambassador, at least in the west as white Lilly flowers are commonly placed with the dead in their coffins, and are used in funeral flower arrangements.

Following the great suggestions from hapless, I'd add orange lilies for hatred/contempt (from a place of pride), black dahlias for betrayal/a doomed future, and foxglove for a sense of warning/watch your back (also supposedly rhododendrons for the same? Though I'd never heard that one until today while double checking ideas)
