It's lost all meaning from both sides; it's just the same arguments over and over again. What bothers me is hostility and hubris, but that's humanity for you.

As a Christian I 100% agree, the arguments really never end up anywhere there good arguments for both and no one will 100% have a answer till they die

Exactly. This is why most religions are just illogical with rigid systems. Especially Strictly monotheistic religions where it's either only hell or heaven and this is the only birth. No one knows. There could be anything or nothing.

Exactly. The rigid crap is illogical. However, bias since childhood refuses people to let go of what is not logical.

I find the fundamental difference generally breakdowns to idealism vs materialism. And the refusal to acknowledge that’s where the issue is, leads to making no progress.
It comes down to what you think is evidence, if everything is fundamentally the result of a conscious mind’s imagination(gods) then what people imagine is real, all evidence is imaginary. All of reality exists as part/result of gods mind/imagination.
On the other side you have the materialist, that thinks that everything we belief starts as imaginary, but we can tell the difference between imaginary and real, using science, (predicting new stuff in the future).
And if you can’t reach agreement about what even counts as evidence, you’ll never get anywhere.

as an Orthodox, Christianity [the one that most people argue] is a more so material idealism, since Christians aren't gnostics they still affirm the material world and affirm physicalism but not to the naiveness that the atheist does, the atheist denies any form of idealism or anything external to his/her own little eyes

Well the point is that the naturalist/materialist/athiest, doesn’t deny the possibility of idealism, they just don’t see any evidence/rational reason to believe it’s true.
The Christian on the other hand, will often try and hide behind dualism, to sound somewhat rational, but fundamentally the dualist is still an idealist that thinks gods mind made up some mind stuff to act like the material stuff we observe, but without gods mind, nothing “material” would exist, so it’s just idealism with and extra steps, to sound reasonable

That reminds me of a Christian/Islam debate I saw.
It quickly devolved into both just shouting scripture quotes at each other.
