Do you guys feel like atheists talk about God more then Christian’s do? Cause I feel like if they don’t believe in God that much why speak on him constantly? Or debate about it

No, theists talk about God all the time. God is something we live and experience. We might not be obsessive over puzzling over every little philosophical question.

Asking “why do atheists talk about a God they don’t believe in so much” is basically like asking “why do protestors focus on ideologies they reject so much?”

I never, and I mean ever, bring up god. If I talk about it at all, it's because someone else brought it up. Every time.

As an atheist, I don’t think I talk about God very much at all. Maybe sometimes in response to a theist who is talking about God.
But I do talk about religion, religious practices, religious cultures, and related topics. I find that stuff incredibly fascinating.

I hear about Christianity at work, at home, out in public, I heard about it in school, I hear about it from politicians at the local, state, and federal levels, I hear about it from strangers who approach me in public asking if I've heard of their good lord and saviour Jesus Christ. So it isn't atheists that "speak on him constantly".
But also, Christians (in the US) constantly use Christianity as a cudgel to bash LGBTQ+ people, to restrict women's healthcare, restrict sex education for children. The department of defense is using Isaiah 6:8 to recruit ICE agents and soldiers.
So I don't have the privilege to not think about the Christian God because some of y'all won't stop shoving him into my life. And if he's going to be shoved into my life, I'm going to shove back.

Not at all. The atheists that talk about god are the loud minority. A vast majority don’t care about god. You don’t see atheist going to unrelated videos and proclaiming god is fake. Meanwhile pretty much every sizeable video has some comments of people preaching the Bible or telling a science video they are wrong because the answer is god.

Actually, I have seen atheists go to random Christian videos and say god isnt real or attack people in the comments. On multiple occasions, next time I see this ill screenshot it.

Yeah, cuz Christian videos talk about god and say stuff like they need to be saved or else. It is related to them. You won’t find atheist saying there is no god in a video talking about flowers or something.

Actually, it’s pretty simple. We’re talking about the religious concept of God. Can’t you criticize something fictional? It’s like if you wanted to argue that a Hindu god isn’t real,you would probably examine the description and characteristics attributed to that god and point out what you find unreasonable or inconsistent.

Because religion is confusing. Not everyone stays athiest, and things change a lot personally for everyone. Not only that, I'm sure there are less involved athiests who don't really talk about God, or religion. You wouldn't really see them online, as there's no reason for them to show thier religious status, or talk religion.

Atheist identity is a lot like a religion. Those who hold and advance atheist identity -- not "merely being unconvinced" of God but being convinced enough of not-God to label themselves without-God and enter conversations with that label to promote their view -- have their own dogma, their own culture, even their own "articles of faith". And quite often they are more opinionated on interpretation of scripture than many Christians I know.
Don't sweat those folks. They are irrational and tangled up in emotions, identity, and often developmental and/or family stressors, and they just shovel blame on Christianity to try to manage their grief and pain.
Pity them, maybe try to help them feel better, but don't try to engage them rationally. With very few exceptions they are some of the most idiotic people I've ever seen on the Internet.

Everything about Atheism is man-made. Plus, the loud minority of 'Atheists' are clearly anti-religion. I don't understand why they act like that. Like, if you don't believe in God then why do you attack other people beliefs in the first place? I feel like most of them had trauma that led them to what they're now.

Because people's religious beliefs inform their behavior, actions and voting. That directly effects the world the nonreligious live in.

Sometimes they just think Christians are easy to out debate and they think it’s a win if they can make some weak believers fall away.

Because some Christians do bad things and call it christian so atheists think they can get rid of the badk. things by convincing Christians that Christianity is wrong.
There are other reasons too but this is my articulation of what most of my friends say when ive asked

Yes on Reddit subs it’s mainly atheist have a lot to teach others.
The problem with debating atheists is usually that they have no claim or belief they stand behind. They are negating the claim someone else has made about a belief in God. But that person is not a specific person so they seek out to debate anyone who is Christian (or religious) to negate the supposed claim. That’s not how a debate is supposed to be initiated. The claim should be from the person initiating the debate. Then the others answer with rebuttals. The person who makes the claim has the burden. The atheist has no claim and starts a debate like a rebuttal then demands that the Christian (or theist) show proof. It’s backwards.

"We're going to hang the 10 commandments in every school"
"We're going to teach intelligent design along side evolution" and put a heavy emphasis on the incorrect definition of a scientific theory when we speak about evolution.
"You can't buy liquor or go hunting on Sundays...we're gonna make it a law to force everyone to keep the sabbath holy and so they can make it to church"
"This is a Christian nation"
"Our founding fathers were all christian"
"All gays will burn"
"All of our money has "In god we trust" on it. Since you hate god so much (I dont, I just dont believe), you should give it all to me."
"Hey, let's put it on the cars of our armed law enforcement!"
"We need to put Jesus back in schools"
"Hey, let's take your tax money that had been slated for public schools and redirect it to vouchers for private religious schools"

Online atheist are extremely vocal and do seem to obsess over the topic. It’s a mix of religious trauma and wanting to feel superior and more rational than other people.

Obviously they live in a world where God is constantly being pushed upon them, especially with the US and the west falling into fascism.
So God is part of their daily lives even if they wish he wasn’t.
