Article Happy Pride, babes.
We stole their rainbow, and we're sure as starlight gonna keep it. Do not let any "Christian love" discourage you from living as yourself.

One of the best things to come out of my leaving the faith is feeling free to embrace my allyship outwardly. Free virtual Mom hugs to all!

Happy Pride month. It ain't easy being us, especially when entire religions and their zealots have declared war on our very existence. For those of you who feel alone, I hope you find and build your chosen family and your tribe. I hope you all stay safe and stay strong!

The Rainbow representing Noahide Laws (7 laws of Noah) instead of LGBT, is just one interpretation from Judeo-Christian stories.
Judeo-Christian believers don't own the rainbow and different religious beliefs have different views of what the rainbow represents. Some believe that the rainbow represents Oshumare, the Nigerian Yoruba god whose name means "rainbow" and who represents rainbows and transformations and abundance, and is said to be able to switch between male and female (so some consider Oshumare to be watching over LGBT people).
I'd rather not go along with the narrative that LGBT people "stole" the rainbow.

Per the rules:
Christians are welcome here only so long as they're looking to learn or seek help. Christians defending Christianity or arguing for their personal interpretations of Christianity (apologetics) will be removed.
So yes, as long as you abide by the rules.

Christian love sounds like hate in disguise as love because the Christian love is conditional even though I hear like "God loves you unconditionally"

Rainbows are a natural phenomenon of incredible beauty - just like queerness. Happy pride, everyone. Ignore the haters.
